Thaddäus Stahler was born in Geinsheim as the son of Friedrich Stahler and Klara. Schreiner (from Harthausen ) born. The father was a tailor by trade. In the anniversary book “The Bavarian Clergy in the Time of Three Revolutions 1918-1933-1945; 25 Years of Clergy Association ” , Stahler is therefore devoted to a separate chapter. On the occasion of his golden jubilee of consecration, in 1931, the initiator of the clergy association, Cardinal Michael von Faulhaber , paid tribute to him with the words: “That the priestly associations have smoothly assumed a solid shape and - what is the main thing - have gone beyond mere organization and actually for our clergy were a spiritual and economic blessing is your great merit. ” Domdekan Stahler remained closely connected to his Palatinate homeland and the Speyer home diocese throughout his life and he cultivated intensive contacts here. The Bavarian Clergy Association - which is also the professional representative of the Speyer priests - donated a memorial plaque to the founding chairman in the entrance area of ​​the Geinsheim church after his death.
