The Thailand Route 205 ( Thai : ถนน สุร นารายณ์ Thanon Suranarai ; German: Nationalstrasse 205, in English: Highway 205 ) is an expressway in Thailand .

Thailand Route 205 is a road that connects Lop Buri Province with Nakhon Ratchasima Province . The expressway starts at Amphoe Ban Mi and ends at Amphoe Mueang Nakhon Ratchasima . It is a strategic supraregional road that connects the Lopburi military base in central Thailand with the Isan . Construction of the road began in 1943, during the tenure of the authoritarian ruling Thai Prime Minister, Field Marshal Plaek Phibunsongkhram . However, it was not completed until after 1951. It is noteworthy that the Kaeng Khoi Junction – Bua Yai Junction railway line crosses the national road 205 with a railway bridge and not, as is common in Thailand, with a level crossing .

The districts and provinces along the road are Amphoe Khok Samrong , Amphoe Chai Badan and Amphoe Lam Sonthi , Lopburi Province, Amphoe Thep Sathit and Amphoe Bamnet Narong , Chaiyaphum Province and Amphoe Phra Thong Kham, and Amphoe Non Thai Province Nakhon Ratchasima.
