The Thayamühlbach (also Thaya-Mühlbach or locally only Mühlbach, Czech: Dyjsko-mlýnský náhon ) is an artificially created canal of the Thaya .

The Thayamühlbach is branched off on the right side of the Thaya at the Thaya weir near Krhovice ; The Krhovice - Hevlín canal to the left of the river begins at the same point. The heavily meandering upper course of the canal is formed by the Stará Dyje ( Old Thaya ), it leads past Strachotice , Micmanice, Slup and Oleksovičky to Jaroslavice , where it feeds the extensive Horní and Dolní Jaroslavický rybník fish ponds and takes in the Daníž brook.

It then leads to the Austrian border in a straight line to the right of the Thaya and then flows in Austrian territory south of the Thaya to Laa an der Thaya . On this section, the canal crosses the Pulkau in the listed Mühlbachaqueduct at the Blaustaudnerhof and the Pfaffengraben in another aqueduct. Then it flows through Laa an der Thaya, where it drove several mills. The lower reaches of the Thayamühlbach runs northeast of Laa past Ruhhof along the Czech-Austrian border. Between Hevlín and Mitterhof the canal flows back into the Thaya.
