action

Buck Yuen is a fitness equipment seller - with moderate success. When he is in the shopping center during his lunch break, he notices bank robbers who are apparently trying to take some customers hostage. Without further ado, Buck goes on the attack and is able to snatch the bag with their loot from the bank robbers. Now they are after Buck and follow him across the building to the outside on the boom of a crane. But Buck managed to get to safety from his pursuers and - holding on to the hook of the crane - got safely to the ground. He is celebrated in the media as the hero of the day.

Shortly afterwards, Buck is approached by a private detective. He tells him about Buck's missing father, a Mr. Park who is dying in the hospital in Seoul and is waiting for his son. So Buck makes his way to South Korea to see his alleged father at the bedside. He wants to bequeath a part of his inheritance to him. But Buck has to do something to do this: namely, solve a riddle; it is a "game". A short time later, Mr. Park dies. Buck receives his inheritance and the urn containing his father's ashes. He learns that several million dollars are to be donated to an orphanage. Buck himself receives a check for USD 10,000 and a box. There is only a metal cross.

When Buck visits his father's grave, he notices an inscription carved on the grave slab: "wait for me". He also finds a dried up tulip in the same place. Buck correctly interprets these clues as part of the riddle. He assigns the individual letters to the sequence of digits 9248 367 63 and uses the Internet to identify the place of origin of the tulip: Istanbul , Turkey . He can then be connected to the Istanbul number; at the other end a banking institution answers. Immediately Buck, who henceforth calls himself Jackie Chan, sets off on a journey to Turkey.

In the Istanbul bank, Jackie Chan has to stamp a document with his crucifix; the bank manager then opens the locker for him. Chan finds a number of bundles of banknotes and another box in the cassette. He believes the "game" is over and decides to see the sights of Istanbul.

When Jackie Chan gets into a taxi, it does not drive him to the desired destination, but stops in a deserted area. Then other taxis of the same color arrive. Men get out of the cars apparently trying to steal Jackie's suitcase. But Chan successfully defends himself, and a little later the police arrive. The perpetrators escape without prey.

Apparently, Jackie Chan has not yet achieved his goal of solving the puzzle. Because the next day he was attacked again by men in a Turkish bathhouse , but was able to successfully defend himself. Shortly before, Chan met a young girl who was serving as a decoy for a Chinese drug cartel , it was later discovered. At the advice of a local CIA employee, Jackie Chan breaks the date with the girl, but later meets her in the bathhouse. Again he is attacked by violent men. Jackie also defends himself here, but is eventually knocked out.

Jackie Chan and the girl are taken to a boathouse. His hands and feet are tied to a hook under the blanket and he is interrogated by Turkish bandits. They are after the " Opium maxa" and suspect it is in Chan's possession. Shortly afterwards, the boathouse is attacked by armed terrorists. Chan takes the opportunity and frees himself and the girl from their bonds. He discovers the winch of a crane, sets it in motion and lays the cable around the supports of the landing stage. Together, Chan and the girl flee on an improvised raft with the help of an outboard motor . The landing stage is destroyed by the winch.

On their escape, their raft is seized by the drug lord's yacht. It turns out that the girl is a drug addict. She is lured on board with a packet of heroin , and Chan goes on board too, as he feels obliged to the girl. From now on, the two are in the power of the drug lord. He suggests a deal to Chan: The girl will be released if he gets the "opium maxa". Chan agrees.

Another piece of the puzzle turns out to be the crucifix that Chan had received from his father. He is also familiar with it from his childhood memories. Chan then goes to a church, where he finds a father in the confessional who knew his father well. At the time, he had asked the father to hand over certain possessions to his son, who would stop by one day. The father shows Jackie Chan the hiding place. Among numerous pieces of furniture and other objects, Chan can spot a hard-shell suitcase that contains the “opium maxa” he is looking for. There is also a note in the suitcase that says "Game over!" Only now is the game over.

Jackie Chan hands over the suitcase with the "Opium maxa", which is ten times stronger than conventional opium and is supposed to make you even more dependent, the drug lord. This then releases the girl. Chan wants to travel back home with her. The girl dies of a heroin overdose in the train station toilet. Shortly thereafter, Chan is arrested by the local police for mistakenly blaming the girl for the girl's death. But Jackie Chan is released when two CIA agents prove his innocence.

Meanwhile, the drug lord tries to escape with the opium in an airplane. But Chan manages to thwart the start by deliberately causing a collision with a previously stolen scooter. The plane catches fire and overturns before exploding; but the drug lord survives and escapes with the heroin in a Mercedes convertible.

The CIA agent and Chan go into chase in a jeep. Chan manages to jump on the Mercedes and throw the drug lord out of the vehicle. But the vehicle goes out of control when it crashes into a tanker truck and catches fire. Chan takes the "Opium maxa" and jumps on the truck. The driver and his child are brought to safety while Jackie Chan tries to get the tanker truck onto an untravelled route because an explosion threatens - the burning Mercedes is still hanging on the rear.

On a viaduct, the tanker truck gets out of control, breaks through the guardrail, falls into the depths and goes up in flames. Jackie Chan can jump out of the truck in time and hold on to a safety net so that he arrives below with minor injuries.

In the sanatorium, Chan surprisingly meets the detective again, who poses as a doctor to him.

criticism

“Jackie lets down his pants and still remains suitable for children! Perfect action fun with a 'topless' insert, funny car chases and spectacular stunts. [...] The story is well constructed, but the action is all the better. The way Jackie fights with the help of defilibrators and sails down a roof with a parasol is a real hit. "
