The 1910 The Fugitive is one of a series of incoherent American silent films by director DW Griffith that deal with the Civil War . The film was released on November 7, 1910.

action

The two sons go on different sides in the American Civil War, where they are separated from their unit in the course of a battle and meet. Union John shoots Confederation John, whereupon the former seeks refuge in the house of his enemy's mother while on the run. Waiting between her duties as a citizen and a mother, motherhood wins and she hides the enemy. A short time later, her wounded son returns home.
