The Good Cop (original title: Den gode strømer ) is a film by the Danish director Lasse Spang Olsen from 2004. The screenplay is by Lasse Spang Olsen and Kim Bodnia , who also plays the leading role in the film.

The police officer Jens works in Copenhagen and actively supports his petty criminal friends. They want to steal a container with ghetto blazers, but the coup goes wrong because they unintentionally caught a container with Chinese silk and two and a half kilograms of heroin owned by the Latvian mafia. Now Jens is forced to help them. But with that he makes things even worse, because soon all the drug rings in the world, including a gang of Polish traffickers, are stuck on his heels.

Reviews

The lexicon of international films wrote that the "dark crime comedy" entertained friends of "extremely grim humor". Even the shaky DV camera “takes a lot of getting used to”.

The film magazine Cinema wrote: Lead-containing little tear - flat, but never boring.
