The Saddest Landscape is an American screamo band that has been active since 2002.

history

The band, founded in 2002, consists of Andy Maddox ( electric guitar , vocals ), Si Choi (electric guitar), Jeremiah Bertz ( electric bass ) and Aaron Neigher ( drums ). Musically, the group belongs to the Screamo .

So far the group has released a split CD with Pianos Become the Teeth (2010) and Funeral Diner (2003), as well as four studio albums. The 2004 debut album, Lift Your Burden's High For This Is Where We Cross , was released on Alone Records . Mike Mogis was also involved in the work . The second album All Is Apologized For. All Is Forgiven only saw the light of day five years later, in 2009. It was released on Coptercrash Records . In 2011, You Will Not Survive was the third album on Panic Records . The fourth studio album was released a year later. It's called After the Lights and was released on Topshelf Records and Bridge Nine Records . The band signed the record deal with Topshelf Records in September 2011. On October 23, 2015, Darkness Forgives will be the band's fifth studio album. The album was produced by Jay Maas , a former musician with Defeater . To shorten the waiting time for the album, the EP Souls Worth Saving will be released on September 25, 2015 .

In January 2012 the band played a short tour through Germany , Belgium and the United Kingdom . Already in 2008 they played in Europe. In December 2013, The Saddest Landscapes completed a small tour of several cities in the United States . The group completed a third European tour in October 2014 with frameworks . Some concerts were also accompanied by the German band The Tidal Sleep . In October and November 2015 the band will play nine concerts in the United States, some of which are from State Faults , Empire! Empire! (I Was a Lonely Estate) and Vattnet Viskar .
