The Tossers are an American folk punk band from Chicago that was formed in July 1993.

history

The band released their first album, We'll Never Be Sober Again , in 1996 , followed by five more ( Long Dim Road , Purgatory , The Valley of the Shadow of Death , Agony and On a Fine Spring Evening ).

The group played with The Pogues , Spider Stacy , Dropkick Murphys , Flogging Molly , Stiff Little Fingers , Shane MacGowan and the Popes , Murphy's Law , Clutch , HorrorPops , The Reverend Horton Heat , Reel Big Fish , Catch 22 , Streetlight Manifesto , Street Dogs , Sick of It All, and Mastodon .

With their formation and their first album, the band came before the better-known bands Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly , the two groups were only founded three and four years after the Tossers.

Another studio album by the Tossers, On a Fine Spring Evening , was released on October 28, 2008. In addition to the seven regular albums, the band has a compilation ( Communication & Conviction: Last Seven Years ), a live album ( Gloatin 'and Showboatin': Live on St. Patrick's Day ), and the EP The First League out from Land .
