Thea Gill (born April 5, 1970 in Vancouver , British Columbia ) is a Canadian actress .

Gill graduated from York University in Toronto with an Honors degree in acting . She became better known for her role as Lindsay Peterson in the television series Queer as Folk . However, she has been active in the film business since the early 1990s and has appeared in a large number of films and series.

Before starting her film career, Gill worked with theater director Brian Richmond , to whom she was now married, in major theaters across Canada, including a. in pieces like Romeo and Juliet , Othello or Uncle Vanja . Thea Gill is also known as a jazz singer.
