music

Theodor Striese today mainly as a composer of new music act, but it is under the alias Rottheo and electronic dance music , mainly in the area of Dubstep / Drum and Bass / Trap (music style) / IDM happening. Striese experiments with sounds that are perceived as everyday. He uses several microphones to record sound events and later process them in various forms. His music can thus be seen as a confrontation between the worlds of the ordinary and the non-ordinary.

“... Perhaps it is this sensitivity for visibly beautiful things that make him attach great importance to beauty and clear structures in his musical forms of expression. He finds odd numbers of bars and exciting rhythms particularly exciting. "
