The Thernille is a river in France that runs in the Allier department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises in the southern municipality of Beaune-d'Allier from the small lake Étang des Faulx , generally drains in a north-westerly direction and, after around 20 kilometers, flows into the Œil as a right tributary in the municipality of Villefranche-d'Allier . In its middle section, the Thernille crosses under the A71 motorway and runs parallel to it for about three kilometers.
Name of the river

- Ruisseau des Coulans to the Étang de la Brosse ,
- Ruisseau des Brosses to the confluence of the Reuillon ,
- Ruisseau de Rongère to the confluence of the Voirat ,
