Thierry Beran Magalhaes (born April 24, 1992 ) is a Luxembourgish ice hockey player of Slovak origin who has been playing for Tornado Luxembourg again in the fourth-class French Division 3 since 2015 . His father Robert is also a Luxembourg national player.

Career

Thierry Beran began his career at IHC Beaufort , who was then playing in the Luxembourg ice hockey league. After playing for Tornado Luxembourg from 2009 to 2011 in the fourth-class French division 3 , he returned to Beaufort and joined the team in the fifth-class Rhineland-Palatinate league . In 2015 he moved again to Tornado in Division 3.

International

Beran made his debut for Luxembourg in the 2011 Division III world championships . Also in 2012 , 2013 , 2015 , 2016 and 2017 he took part in the Division III games with the team from the Grand Duchy. At these tournaments he played in a team with his father Robert . At the 2018 World Cup , he played for the Moselle Franconia for the first time in Division II. It was the first tournament in which he was not on the same team as his father.
