Seibel & Wohlenberg was a German cabaret duo .

Cabaret duo

For the first time as a duo they performed in 2000 with the program KULTMÖRDER! on. In 2001 the piece won both the Reinheimer Satirelöwen and the Silver Broom at the Stuttgart Cabaret Festival . In 2002 they won the St. Ingberter Pfanne and the Hasper Hammer cabaret award for their second joint piece, For a handful of brains . Other programs were NO TIME FOR POLITIES! (2004) and Half Knowledge - Full Numbers! (2006), directed by Tatjana Cichon.

Since 2000, the duo can be seen regularly in television appearances at WDR , 3sat and SWR .

Since 2007 both have been appearing increasingly as soloists, but are also on the road as a quartet with Martin Maier-Bode and Jens Neutag with the Cologne-Düsseldorfer program - a cabaret peace mission .

The last joint tour ended in early 2012. Lüder Wohelberg will be replaced by cabaret artist Mia Pittroff in the traditional year-end billing, which the duo performed until the end.

Thilo Seibel (born June 24, 1967 in Munich ) began collecting theater experiences in 1986. Since 1992 he has been an author and performer of various cabaret programs. From 1989 to 1996 he studied business administration at the University of Cologne. He completed his studies with a diploma.

In 1994 he was a script employee at RTL Saturday Night . In 1995/1996 he won the Comedy On Air Prize at the 1st Cologne Comedy Cup with the solo program ICH KOMME! record first successes. Since 1996 he has appeared as a freelance artist (cabaret artist and author). This was followed by a nomination for the St. Ingberter Pfanne Cabaret Prize . On television he was seen in various roles in video clips, including at Schreinemakers Live . 1997/1998 followed its premiere of the solo program WAS NUN? in Cologne nationwide appearances and nominations for the cabaret awards Wiedertäufer (Münster), Westspitzen (Eschweiler / Düren) and Paulaner Solo + (Munich).

In 1999 he celebrated further successes with the premiere of the solo program WENN EGOS EGOS EGOS NENNEN in Cologne. A nomination for the Stuttgart Broom Cabaret Prize follows.

Thilo Seibel appeared in 2000 through his research work at the WDR Midnight Peak and Summer Academy of the Cologne Comedy School.

From 2005 to 2008 Seibel parodied in the radio comedy colleague Bruce Bruce Willis .

In October 2016 he had a guest appearance on the cabaret show Die Anstalt .

Lüder Wohlenberg (2009)

Lüder Wohlenberg (born February 8, 1962 in Hamburg ) initially studied medicine in Cologne until 1991. In 2003 he was able to successfully complete his training, which led him to Wesseling, Düren and Mönchengladbach, as a specialist in diagnostic radiology . At the same time he appeared as a writer and performer of various programs for the student cabaret Die Reizwölfe .

1995–1997 acting training with Gereon Nussbaum.

Nationwide appearances took place in 1996 after the premiere of the program Already one million again in the duo apriori orange with Sasa Hanten. This was followed in 1997 by the solo theater Und draussen das Grauen (director: Peter Fischer) and in 1998 the solo cabaret program Aufwärts ultra (director: Peter Fischer). The work was rewarded with the nomination for the Paulaner Solo cabaret competition (Munich).

In 1999 Wohlenberg was seen again with the premiere of the program Aliens im Sexrausch in the duo apriori orange with Sasa Hanten.
