Thomas Andreas Beck (born April 8, 1968 in Vienna ) is an Austrian artist .

Life

He gained his first musical experience with performances as “Thomas Beck und seine Buggln” from 1985 to 1987. From 1996 he worked as a sales and marketing manager at Terra Baumaschinen GmbH, for JCB Baumaschinen, GB . In 2000 he founded his own company “Brand and Marketing Communication” “In 2003 his company was transformed into Tombeck Marketing GmbH, based in Vienna. In 2004 he completed his coaching training with Wolfgang Stabentheiner in the fields of team building and leadership .

Beck has been cooperating with the Austrian social scientist Ernst Gehmacher on corporate consulting projects since 2005 .

From 2005 to 2006 Beck accompanied the merger of Bank-Austria Realinvest, in the book Social Capital - New Approaches to Social Forces an interview was published in a separate chapter.

Thomas Andreas Beck has been active as a musician again since 2009, producing his first album "Mei Herz brennt" in 2009 under the pseudonym "Tombeck", the second "Freude" in 2012 and the unplugged live album and film "Knistern" in 2013 he created a series of singles under his birth name Thomas Andreas Beck.

Tombeck played solo at the Rock to Bethlehem Music Festival on December 20, 2013 in Bethlehem , Palestine .

Beck played with his band from 2013 to 2016 at the Vienna Danube Island Festival .

On October 31, 2014 he organized in Mödling together with the 2010 at Wetten, dass ..? actor Samuel Koch was involved in a concert reading . On March 25, 2015, there was a concert reading with the extreme mountaineer, coach and author Andy Holzer , who was blind from birth .

The Austrian bestseller magazine reports in its 1/2015 issue as a cover story in a double interview with Andy Holzer “What really matters in life” about Thomas Andreas Beck. In February 2017, the Austrian magazine ooom reported "Rodeo in Eternal Ice" about a trip with Andy Holzer to the Antarctic.

He produced his song "Freude" with more than 30 Austrian musicians for the Momo children's hospice. Since Austria for Asia it is the largest community benefit project in the Austrian music scene.

At Beck's initiative, the World Future Forum 2017 took place from March 30th to April 2nd, 2017. Beck was one of the active participants in the circle of many winners of the Alternative Nobel Prize of the World Future Council in the Bregenz Festival Hall .

In 2017 he released his first solo album Silence Leads .

Beck is co-founder and since 2016 curator of the annual Gumpoldskirchen wine summer, a mixture of music festival and traditional wine festival.

In 2020 Beck published the book Texts that Won't Become Songs at Goldegg Verlag . Radio Ö1 reports on February 18, 2020 in the morning program "Leporello Lieder und Leder" about Beck's book and life.
