Austria for Asia
Austria for Asia is the name of a charitable musician project by the Austrian chansonnier André Heller . The background to the initiative was the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake .
Participants were well-known musicians such as Christina Stürmer , Wolfgang Ambros and Georg Danzer . At the beginning of 2005 the compilation " Your help is needed" was published . On February 6 of the same year, it went from zero to number one in the Austrian charts. The proceeds were donated to the victims of the tsunami disaster.
