Thomas Freudensprung (* 1965 in Wiener Neustadt , Lower Austria ; † October 1, 2011 at Landsee , Markt Sankt Martin , Burgenland ) was an Austrian actor .

Life

After graduating from high school, Thomas Freudensprung attended the Krauss drama school in Vienna. He had his first engagement at the theater in 1985. This was followed by appearances on Austrian and German stages in Graz , Linz , Bregenz and Kamenz . He had a long-term engagement with the Kobersdorf Castle Games . He was a founding member of the Kottingbrunn Kulturszene association and, from 1996 until his death in 2011, an important member of the ensemble of the annual autumn productions in the Kottingbrunn moated castle.

In addition to his acting activities, his voice was known from numerous literary productions for Radio Burgenland and Ö1 . On the occasion of the Haydn year 2009 he published the book Cooking Makes Haydnspaß . Freudensprung was also an avid musician.

Thomas Freudensprung was married to ORF Burgenland editor Silvia Schöll and has a son.

Thomas Freudensprung died on October 1st, 2011 at the age of 46 in a motorcycle accident.
