Thomas Haffenecker

Thomas Haffenecker (born May 20, 1669 in Haldensee , Tyrol ; † November 16, 1730 in Prague ) was a Tyrolean builder of the Baroque era who worked as an imperial court architect in Bohemia.

Thomas Haffenecker came from a Tyrolean master builder family and is the father of Anton Haffenecker . From 1711 he worked in Prague with Christoph Dientzenhofer and later with his son Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer . Haffenecker received civil rights in Prague's Lesser Town in 1707 . He designed numerous plans for sacred buildings, most of which were realized after his death.
