Anton Haffenecker
Anton Haffenecker (born June 4, 1720 in Prague ; † August 16, 1789 there ) was a Bohemian architect and court builder .
Life
Thomas Haffenecker's son studied in Vienna and then worked for his father. Haffenecker was particularly influenced by early classicism through his work with Nikolaus Pacassi . He also created a number of late Baroque buildings. The focus of his activity was Prague. His main clients were the Counts von Nostitz , for whom he created several city palaces in Prague. Haffenecker was appointed Prague court architect in 1769.

- Construction and reconstruction of the rococo castle Měšice in Měšice for Franz Anton von Nostitz-Rieneck , 1767–1775 and 1780–1789
- Extension of a late baroque town house on the Lesser Town ring to the Church of St. Nicholas on the Lesser Town in Prague , 1768
- Extension buildings at Prague Castle : reconstruction of parts of the New Palace according to plans by Nikolaus Pacassi, 1769–1775 and of the Northern Castle Gate, 1772
- Conversion of the Jesuit grammar school on the Lesser Town in Prague into a Gubernial Chancellery (today the seat of the House of Representatives ), from 1772
- Reconstruction of the Michna Palace on the Lesser Town of Prague, 1777
- Church of John the Baptist in Město Touškov , 1777–1778
