Thomas Lennon (* 20th century ) is an American film producer , film director , screenwriter and documentary filmmaker .

Career

Thomas Lennon's career in film began in 1984 when he wrote the script and made his directorial debut for the television documentary To Save Our Schools, to Save Our Children . The documentary aired on ABC and Lennon received a News & Documentary Emmy Award for it . Since 1989 he has also worked as a producer, so he was responsible for the television series American Experience by PBS , for which he received a 1996 Primetime Emmy Awards nomination . He then also worked on the television series Frontline , for which he received a WGA Award in 1991 and 1994 , for four episodes of the television series The Irish in America: Long Journey Home , which was commissioned by Walt Disney Television and Becoming American: The Chinese Experience from PBS with.
