Thomas Schmitt (TV producer)

Thomas Schmitt (born October 1, 1979 in Homburg , Saarland ) is a German creative producer , podcaster and Grimme Prize winner.

After an internship at MTV , Schmitt worked on the development and as the author of the show MTV Home . He was then Executive Producer of NeoParadise . Since 2012 he has been a creative producer, author and director a . a. at Circus HalliGalli and Das Duell um die Welt . He has also been Managing Director of FloridaTV since the end of 2017.

In 2018, Schmitt was awarded the Grimme Prize as part of the #Gosling-Gate Circus HalliGalli campaign . Since November 2019 he can be heard together with Klaas Heufer-Umlauf and Jakob Lundt in the Baywatch Berlin podcast .
