Thomas Schwarzmann (also Tom Schwarzmann , born April 25, 1971 in Mödling , Lower Austria ) is an Austrian entertainer , presenter , musician and singer .

Life

After primary school in Brunn am Gebirge and lower school in Mödling , Schwarzmann attended the Musik-BORG Wr. Neustadt. After graduating from high school, he graduated from the Lower Austria Pedagogical University (English / Music) and studied popular music / saxophone at the JM Hauer Conservatory in addition to teaching at various music schools and in the Hinterbrühl secondary school . He completed his vocal training with Gordon Bovinet and Sheila Edwards-C among others.

In 1998 Schwarzmann began his moderation work at Radio Max - the shopping radio. In 1999 he switched to ORF Radio Niederösterreich , where he initially presented the morning show Guten Morgen NÖ . He currently moderates the afternoon broadcasts Radio Niederösterreich, early shopping, Radio 4/4 and off-air events.

As a stage musician, Schwarzmann played in the Vienna Volkstheater in Michael Schottenberg's production under the direction of Emmy Werner in Cyrano de Bergerac .

Between 2006 and 2011 he was a singer and presenter with the Wolfgang Lindner Band (including the Musikantenstadl and concerts in German-speaking countries) and at the same time founded his own formation DANCINGBRASS .

In addition to his work as a moderator, musician and entertainer, Schwarzmann completed a master’s degree at the emca-academy and graduated in 2012 with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in general management and has worked at the Lower Austria University of Education , the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt and at the University of Agricultural and Environmental Education as a lecturer for speech technology, rhetoric and presentation technology.

Since autumn 2015 he has been on tour with his first full-length solo program Tom Schwarzmann singt - Eine Musikomische One-Man-Show (co-author and director: Fritz Schindlecker ) and in 2016 he appeared at the Austrian Cabaret and Cabaret Festival Ybbsiade under the directorship of Joesi Prokopetz .
