Ybbsiade
The Ybbsiade is a cabaret and cabaret festival in Ybbs in Lower Austria, has been held annually by the city since 1989 and lasts around two weeks.
history
The 30th Ybbsiade in 2018 - the open air was canceled - counted 13,400 visitors. The 31st Ybbsiade programs from March 29th to April 27th 2019 under the motto Not a bit quieter! 24 events on 22 match days - including several music appointments - with the exception of an open-air concert in the stadium, all of them in the town hall, the large hall of which has 1,000 seats.
In 2020 the Ybbsiade was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic .
Many well-known cabaret artists have performed here such as Hans Peter Heinzl , Dieter Hildebrandt , Axel Corti , Lukas Resetarits , Alfred Dorfer , Roland Düringer , Josef Hader , Andreas Vitasek , Alexander Goebel , Gerhard Polt and the Biermösl Blosn , Ottfried Fischer , Lisa Fitz , Bruno Jonas , Michael Mittermeier , Alexander Bisenz , Joesi Prokopetz , Ostbahn-Kurti , Ciro de Luca or Alfons Haider . Caricaturists such as Ironimus , Paul Flora , Erich Sokol and Rudi Angerer also contributed to the Ybbsiade with pictures.
The first director was Peter Orthofer , and in 2013 Alexander Goebel took over the management. Joesi Prokopetz has been artistic director since 2015 .
Ybbs jester
The Ybbs jester is awarded annually to one or more artists . This is a trophy designed based on an idea by Rudi Angerer , which has been made of glass by the artist Ute Ungar since 2005. The following artists have been honored so far:
