Thomas Vrabec (born October 22, 1966 in Jablonec nad Nisou , Czechoslovakia ) is a former Swiss - Czech ice hockey player .
Career
Thomas Vrabec began his career as a hockey player with the EHC Chur , for which he in the 1985/86 season in the Swiss National League B was active and with which he is equal in his rookie year in the National League A rising. After two years in Chur, the attacker switched to HC Lugano , with whom he became Swiss champions in 1988 and 1990 respectively . He was able to repeat this success in 1991 and 1992 with SC Bern . Due to a thrombosis , Vrabec had to end his career early in 1996.
International
For Switzerland , Vrabec took part in the B World Championships in 1989 and 1989 , as well as the A World Championships in 1987 , 1991 and 1993 . He was also on the Swiss squad for the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville .
