Thomas Wilhelm (born May 20, 1986 in Landshut ) is a former German ice hockey player (striker).

Career

Wilhelm had his first assignments in the DNL at the Landshut Cannibals at the age of 15 in the 2001/02 season. The winger was under contract with Landshut until the 2003/04 season and also played his first second division game with Bayern . Mainly, however, the left shooter was still used in the DNL team.

Since he did not receive a contract in Landshut for the 2004/05 season , Wilhelm moved to the Straubing Tigers . In the 2005/06 season Wilhelm was promoted to the DEL with the Tigers , and during his first season in the first division, the attacker was also used in the 2nd Bundesliga with a sponsorship license for cooperation partner EHC Munich and Landshut Cannibals.

In the 2007/08 season , Thomas Wilhelm was still under contract with the Straubing Tigers and was able to play a similarly successful season as last year. Wilhelm did not play ice hockey professionally in the 2009/10 season. From December 2010 he was under contract with the national division EV Dingolfing .

International

Internationally, Wilhelm was used at the U18 World Cup in 2004 and scored two points in five games .
