Tilly (vehicle)
Car Light Utility 4 × 2 , or Tilly (from Utility ), was the name of a group of light passenger cars made by various manufacturers that were used by the United Kingdom's armed forces during World War II .
Origin and use
In addition to civilian vehicles that were used in bars and other rear-end tasks, the British military used a large number of modified civilian vehicles in which the passenger compartment was shortened and a loading area was fitted in the rear, like a pick-up truck.
