The Morris Ten was a lower middle class vehicle that Morris brought out in 1933 as a derivative of the Morris Eight .

The Morris 10/4 had a side-controlled 4-cylinder in-line engine with a capacity of 1,292 cc, and all four wheels were suspended from semi-elliptical springs. The vehicles were available as two- or four-door sedans or two-door convertibles (Special Coupe). Their top speed was 98 km / h.

The Morris 10/6 was more ephemeral , its side-controlled 6-cylinder in-line engine with a capacity of 1,378 cc accelerated the vehicle up to 96 km / h. The four-door sedan with a slightly more modern body line than the 10/4 model was only produced in 1934 and 1935. Large dealers such as Stewart & Ardern in London offered separate bodies for the 10/6; they were manufactured by Cunard , among others .

In 1936 the model was replaced by the Morris 10/4 Series II . This had a new OHV engine with the same displacement, which gave the vehicle a top speed of 104 km / h. The model was discontinued in 1938.

In 1939, the Morris Ten Series M was again introduced as a larger version of the Morris Eight Series E. The sedan now had a 4-cylinder OHV in-line engine with 1140 cm³, which developed an output of 37.2 bhp (27.4 kW). The top speed was 101 km / h. Like the Type 8, the Type 10 was finally replaced by the Morris Minor MM in 1948 .
