The Morris Isis 6 was launched in 1931 as a modification of the Model 6 . The big one also has its side-controlled 6-cylinder in-line engine with 2,468 cm³ and wheel suspensions with semi-elliptical springs. The bodies made by Budd (USA) were lower than those of the predecessor. The model reached a top speed of 99 km / h. It was the first Morris to have hydraulic brakes and chrome parts (previously they were nickel-plated).
In 1932 the Isis 6 was redesigned. Instead of the all-steel body, it was given a conventional sheet-metal body with a wooden frame. As a luxury version, the Morris Twenty-Five came out with a larger engine. In 1934 there was an automatic clutch and a freewheel on request .
In 1935 the Isis 6 was discontinued. The successor was the Morris Eighteen .

In 1955 the model name was revived. The new Morris Isis Series I was a 4-door sedan, or a 5-door station wagon, the upper middle class, which replaced the Morris Six Series MS . The overhead 6-cylinder in-line engine came from the Austin Westminster , had a displacement of 2,639 cm³ and developed 86 bhp (63 kW). The vehicle reached 144 km / h.
There was also a US-style 3-door "Woody" station wagon. In total, only about 8,500 units were sold, making the Morris much less successful than its Austin counterpart.

A year later, the Morris Isis Series II replaced him . It had the same engine as its predecessor, but increased to 90 bhp (66 kW). There was a manual gearbox with four gears and an automatic gearbox on request. The gearshift lever sat to the right of the driver (who was sitting on the right), i.e. on the outside of the front seat bench. The handbrake lever was right behind it. As with the Oxford Series III , the body was slightly modernized and received chrome-plated side stripes and small tail fins .
In 1958 the Isis was finally discontinued. The successor from 1972 was the Morris 2200 .
