Tim-Kevin Ravnjak (born November 5, 1996 in Velenje ) is a Slovenian snowboarder . He starts in the freestyle disciplines.
Career
Ravnjak has been participating in the Ticket to Ride World Snowboard Tour competitions since 2007 . He achieved several podium finishes in slopestyle at beginners' events on the Burton AM Tour until 2009. He drove his first FIS World Cup race in November 2009 in Saas-Fee , which he finished in 49th place on the halfpipe. In February 2009 he won the Protest Balkan Rookie Fest in Mokra Gora . In the following season, more victories in junior races followed. At the Snowboard World Championships 2011 in La Molina he achieved the 25th place on the halfpipe. In March 2011 he achieved his first top ten placement in the FIS World Cup with ninth place on the halfpipe in Arosa . At the Snowboard Junior World Championships 2011 in Chiesa in Valmalenco , he won silver in slopestyle. In January 2012 he won the Rail Jam at the Audi Snowboard Series in Laax . A week later, he won silver on the halfpipe at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Kühtai . At the Snowboard Junior World Championships 2012 in Sierra Nevada he won gold and at the Snowboard Junior World Championships 2013 in Erzurum silver on the halfpipe. At the 2013 Snowboard World Championships in Stoneham , he came 24th in slopestyle and 22nd on the halfpipe. In the 2013/14 season he achieved several top ten results on the World Snowboard Tour. In February 2014 he took eighth place on the halfpipe when he participated in his first Olympic participation in Sochi . At the following Junior Snowboard World Championships in 2014 in Chiesa in Valmalenco, he won gold on the halfpipe. He finished the season in third place in the overall tour standings. At the beginning of the 2014/15 season he came fourth on the halfpipe at the Burton High Fives in Cardrona . At the 2015 Snowboard World Championships on Kreischberg , he won bronze on the halfpipe. The following year he finished 11th in the halfpipe competition at the X-Games Oslo 2016 . At the Snowboard World Championships 2017 in Sierra Nevada , he came 31st in the halfpipe, 28th in Big Air and 20th in Slopestyle.
