Tim Leahy (born September 15, 1975 in Duxbury , Massachusetts ) is a former American ice hockey player ( striker ) who was active during his career for the Düsseldorfer EG and the Kölner Haie in the German Ice Hockey League .
Career
Leahy began his career in the 1994/95 season at Miami University in the NCAA , for which he completed a total of four seasons before moving to Germany for SC Bietigheim-Bissingen for the 1998/99 season. Leahy stayed there until the 2000/01 season , when he went to the DEL at the beginning of the new season for Düsseldorfer EG .
He spent the 2002/03 season at Heilbronner EC in the 2nd Bundesliga and at Kölner Haien in DEL.
At the beginning of the 2003/04 season Leahy moved to EHC Munich in the league and in the 2004/05 season achieved promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga with Munich.
After two very successful years at EHC Munich, he ended his active ice hockey career.
