Tim O'Donnell (screenwriter)

Tim O'Donnell (born before 1982) is an American screenwriter , television director and executive producer .

Life

Tim O'Donnell began his career as a screenwriter on the comedy series Gloria , for which he wrote five episodes from 1982 to 1983. He wrote other scripts in the 1980s for the television series Nochfragen Arnold? (1983), Our Loud Home (1986–1990) and Chaos to the Power of Ten (1988). In 1990 he wrote the pilot episode for the series Uncle Buck , based on the film Alone With Uncle Buck by John Hughes . He co-created the sitcom Home Free with Richard Gurman , starring Matthew Perry , on which O'Donnell made his directorial debut. From 1995 to 1999, wrote and directed several episodes of The Super-moms , Trouble with Dave and Clueless - The chaos clique before the 2000 cable channel Disney Channel came. There he was involved in the well-known youth series The Amanda Show , Lizzie McGuire and Phil from the future as a director. He directed all 22 episodes for the internet horror comedy series Woke Up Dead (2009), which was also broadcast in German-speaking countries on TNT Serie in July 2012 .

In 2012 he wrote the screenplay for the television film The 4 to 9ers . During his career, O'Donnell was also involved as executive producer on a number of series; including Home Free , The Super Mamis , Always Trouble with Dave , Clueless - The Chaos Clique and About a Girl .
