Time Under Fire , also known in the US as Beneath the Bermuda Triangle , is an American science fiction film directed by Scott P. Levy in 1996 .

Alan Deakins, a submarine commander, is the only one returning from a mission. He is questioned by FBI agents and told what happened.

The submarine got into a time hole in the Bermuda Triangle, whereupon it was moved to the year 2077. The US is a dictatorship at this time under the leadership of Charles Braddock. The crew of the submarine is captured. Deakins helps the rebel leader, who turns out to be his grandson.

Reviews

• TV Movie wrote that the film was a failed version of the Philadelphia Experiment .
• Richard Scheib wrote in MORIA that Time Under Fire looked as cheap as if it had been shot in a single factory building. Scott Levy proves that he is a "poor" director of the action films. The ideas are borrowed from the other films, the villain looks like a clone of the Emperor in Return of the Jedi . Jeff Fahey plays "acceptable".
