Timo-Jan Uster (born October 22, 1974 in Berlin , Germany ) is a former Gambian - German football player .
Career
societies
Timo Uster comes from the youth of Blau-Weiß 90 Berlin . Following his youth career, Uster was under contract with numerous clubs. He played for the Reinickendorfer Füchsen until 1993 , then moved to Frohnauer SC for a year and was signed by SC Charlottenburg in 1994 . After a three-year stay at SC Charlottenburg, there was a short interlude at FSV Velten . After the club went bankrupt, he played in the second half of the 1997/98 season for Tasmania Neukölln . Between 1998 and 2000 Uster was under contract with SV Meppen , after which he was active for a year at FC Carl Zeiss Jena . After that Uster was under contract for two years between 2001 and 2003, and 2003 and 2005 with SV Wehen Wiesbaden and SV Darmstadt 98 . In 2005 he finally moved to Rot-Weiß Oberhausen , where he plays today. After relegation in the 2005/06 season, Uster and his club achieved promotion two times in a row: first back to the Regionalliga Nord in 2006/07 and then promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2007/08. The defender made his second division debut on the first day of the 2008/09 season against TuS Koblenz . On April 22, 2010 it was announced that his contract with Rot-Weiß Oberhausen was not being extended and that he would have to leave the club.
In the 2013/14 season he made a comeback with his former RWO comrades Tuncay Aksoy and Tim Reichert at the Oberhausen district league club SV Adler Osterfeld .
National team
In January 2007, Uster was appointed to the squad for an international match for the first time by the then national coach of the Gambian national team, Antoine Hey . He came on January 8, 2007 in the 3-0 defeat against Saudi Arabia for his first international match and played through. On February 7, he played his second and last international match in the 2-1 defeat against Luxembourg .
