Timo Wopp (* 1976 in Oldenburg , Lower Saxony ) is a German cabaret artist , presenter , speaker and juggler .

Life

After graduating from high school Eversten Oldenburg in 1997 , Wopp studied business administration at the University of Hamburg , graduating in 2005 with the degree of business administration .

Parallel to his studies, Wopp worked as a professional juggler on German and international variety stages, including Wintergarten Varieté Berlin , Roncalli's Apollo Varieté Düsseldorf, Schmidt Theater Hamburg and Le Plus Grand Cabaret du Monde Paris. In 2007 he was the first German juggler with a solo contract with Cirque du Soleil in New York .

From December 2010 he was on tour with his cabaret program Passion and made guest appearances with it on various theater stages, including several times in the Pantheon-Theater Bonn, in the Wühlmäusen Berlin and in the Düsseldorfer Kom (m) ödchen . In addition to the theater performances, he appears regularly for the Quatsch Comedy Club as well as in the context of the Cologne Comedy Festival and the cabaret show Die Anstalt . Since October 2015 he has played his second evening program Moral - A mood of culture . His third solo program In Search of the Lost Joke has been running since September 2018 .
