Tine De Caigny (born June 9, 1997 in Beveren-Waes , Oost-Vlaanderen ) is a Belgian football player .

Career

Club career

De Caigny started her career at KFC Vrasene and moved to Club Bruges in 2013 . There she was runner-up in both years and played in 41 games, where she scored 1 goal. In the summer of 2015 she left Club Bruges and switched to league rivals Lierse SK , where she won the Beker van Belgie cup competition in 2016 . In July 2016, she completed a trial training at Allianz women's Bundesliga club FF USV Jena and ran in Jena Paradies u. a. in a test match against the Vietnamese national soccer team . Then she briefly played for Vålerenga Oslo and since January 2017 she has been playing for RSC Anderlecht . With the club she became Belgian champion in 2018 and 2019.

National team career

Between 2011 and 2013 De Caigny played in four international matches for the U-16s and scored two goals. This was followed by twelve international matches and four goals for the U-17 and 14 games in which she scored a goal for the U-19 national team. De Caigny has been a national team player for the Red Flames since 2014 and has so far played 17 international matches, scoring six goals. She made her debut for the Belgian national team on February 8, 2014 in a 1-0 win over the Polish women's national football team .
