Agbia is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .

It goes back to a submerged bishopric in the ancient city of the same name , which was in the Roman province of Africa proconsularis . The bishopric was assigned as a suffragan diocese of the ecclesiastical province of Carthage .
