Titular diocese of Arae in Mauretania
Arae in Mauretania ( Italian : Are di Mauritania ) is a titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church .
The former bishopric in the North African city of Arae in Mauretania was in Mauritania Sitifense , the oriental part of the Roman province of Mauretania Caesariensis , which went under in the 7th century with the Islamic expansion .
