Titular bishopric of Gummi in Proconsulari
The Diocese of Gummi in Proconsulari ( Italian diocesi di Gummi di Proconsolare , Latin Dioecesis Gummitana in Proconsulari ) is a titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a lost bishop's seat in the ancient city of the same name, presumably today's Bordj Cedria , which was in the Roman province of Africa proconsularis (today northern Tunisia ). The bishopric was assigned to the ecclesiastical province of Carthage .
