Titular diocese of Nicopolis ad Iaterum

Nicopolis ad Iaterum ( Italian : Nicopoli all'Jantra ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .

It goes back to an earlier bishop's seat in the ancient city of the same name , which was located in the south-eastern European region and late ancient Roman province of Moesia inferior (Lower Moesia ) in today's Bulgaria . The diocese belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Marcianopolis .
