Titular diocese of Palmyra

Palmyra ( Italian : Palmira ) is the titular bishopric or until 1925 the titular archbishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .

It goes back to a lost bishopric in the city of Palmyra in the Roman province of Syria Coele or in late antiquity Syria salutaris in central Syria .
