Titular diocese of Pegae
Pegae ( Italian : Pege or Spiga ; Latin : Pegaeus or Spigacensis ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church . It goes back to a submerged bishopric in the ancient and Byzantine city of Pegai , which was in the Roman province of Asia or Hellespontus on the Asian side of the Dardanelles . The bishopric was assigned to the church province Cyzicus . Since 1364 this city was called Biga .
