Biga is a city and the seat of a district in the northeast of the Turkish province of Çanakkale . Biga is also considered a school town and hosts around 2000 students annually . The Biga Çayı River , the ancient Granikos , divides the city in half. Despite its proximity to the sea , Biga does not have its own coast .
