Titular diocese of Trapezopolis
Trapezopolis ( Italian : Trapezopoli ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to an earlier diocese of the ancient city of Trapezopolis in the Asia Minor region of Caria (in the late ancient Roman province of Phrygia Pacatiana ), south of today's Sarayköy in western Turkey . The diocese belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Laodicea ad Lycum .
