Tobias Hager (born August 13, 1973 in Munich ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Hager belonged from 1991 bis 1996 the amateur team of Bayern Munich and came in the newly introduced in 1994, third-rate Regionalliga Süd in 53 point games used. He also played five games in the DFB-Pokal competition, his first on September 11, 1993 in the third main round in a 5-4 win on penalties against 1. FC Köln , his last on March 7, 1995 in the 1 : 2 defeat in the quarterfinals against VfL Wolfsburg , where he scored the opening goal in the 60th minute after he and his team knocked the professional clubs Werder Bremen , Chemnitzer FC and VfB Stuttgart out of the competition.

Hager played numerous DFB junior national team appearances from the U17 to the U19. With the DFB junior national team , he took part in the U-18 European Championship in 1992 in his own country. Hager also played three international matches for the U21 national team in 1994 .
