Death of D. Wolters
Death Daniel Wolters (* 1960 ) is an American four-star general in the United States Air Force . Since May 2, 2019, he is commander of United States European Command and since May 3, 2019 staff Union Supreme Allied Commander Europe of NATO . In this double function he succeeds Curtis M. Scaparrotti , who has retired.
Wolters had previously been in command of the United States Air Forces in Europe - Air Forces Africa from August 28, 2016 .
