Todenfeld is a district of Rheinbach and a town in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The village is located about 6 km south of the main town on the L492 on the heights of the northern Eifel in Ahrgebirge directly on the border with Rhineland-Palatinate . Neighboring towns are in the south-east Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler , south-west Bad Münstereifel , north-west Euskirchen and north-east Meckenheim . The nearest train stations are Rheinbach and Meckenheim on the Voreifelbahn Bonn-Euskirchen railway line , and the nearest motorway junction is Rheinbach / Meckenheim on the A 61 .
The place is agriculturally structured and also a place of residence for commuters to Rheinbach, Meckenheim, Bonn and the Cologne Bay.
Todenfeld was incorporated into the city of Rheinbach on August 1, 1969.
