Todos Santos is a town in the Oruro department in the highlands of the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

Todos Santos is the central place of the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Todos Santos in the province of Puerto de Mejillones . Todos Santos is located on the upper reaches of the Río Sabaya , about 45 kilometers northwest of the salt lake Salar de Coipasa .

The climate in the region is semi-arid (see climate diagram Sabaya) and shows a humid period in summer, the annual precipitation is 400–500 mm. From Oruro, the largely unpaved road Ruta 12 leads 189 kilometers in a south-westerly direction via Ancaravi and Huachacalla to Sabaya and on to Pisiga on the Chilean border. In Sabaya a dirt road branches off to the west and leads a further 32 kilometers along the Río Sabaya to La Rivera and from there in a westerly direction another ten kilometers to Todos Santos .
