Tomáš Vincour (born November 19, 1990 in Brno , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech ice hockey player who has been under contract with HC Kometa Brno in the Czech extra league since August 2016 .

Career

Tomáš Vincour began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of HC Kometa Brno , for whose professional team he played a total of five games in the first division , the second Czech division, from 2005 to 2007 . From 2007 to 2010, the winger played in the Canadian Junior Western Hockey League for the Edmonton Oil Kings and Vancouver Giants . During this period, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft 2009 in the fifth round as a total of 129th player by the Dallas Stars . He made his National Hockey League debut for the Dallas Stars in the 2010/11 season when he scored one goal and one assist in 24 each. Most of the season, however, the Czech spent with their farm team Texas Stars , for which he scored 13 points in 50 games in the American Hockey League , including five goals.

On April 2, 2013, he was transferred to the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for defenseman Cameron Gaunce and completed two NHL and six AHL games for the franchise. In June 2013 he returned to Europe and was signed by Ak Bars Kazan from the Continental Hockey League . After the 2013/14 season he left Kazan again and joined the Colorado Avalanche in August 2014, after having been under contract with his old club HC Kometa Brno for two weeks.

At the Avalanche, Vincour could not establish himself in the episode and spent most of the 2014/15 season with the Lake Erie Monsters in the AHL. After the season, the Czech decided to return to the KHL and signed a one-year contract with HK Sibir Novosibirsk in August 2015 . For Sibir he completed 55 KHL games in which he collected 31 points scorer. After the contract expired, he returned to the Czech Republic and was signed by his parent club Kometa.

International

For the Czech Republic , Vincour first took part in the junior division of the U18 World Junior Championship in 2007 , where he relegated his team to Division I, from which he and his team immediately rose again at the U18 World Junior Championship of Division I in 2008 . As the top scorer, best assists and player with the best plus / minus balance in Group A, he played a decisive role in this success . He was also part of the Czech squad at the U20 World Junior Championships in 2009 and 2010 .
