Tom Richmond (cameraman)
Tom Richmond (born January 18, 1950 in New York City ) is an American cameraman .
Tom Richmond attended Harvard University in Cambridge , graduating with a degree in arts and architecture. He started his career in film as a camera technician in the 1970s, followed by his first work as an independent cameraman in the early 1980s. To date he has been involved in more than 70 productions. He also worked on some music videos and commercials.
Richmond has been nominated three times for the Independent Spirit Award in the Best Camera category: 1989 for Stand and Deliver , 1992 for His Last Game and 1996 for Little Odessa . In 2006 he received an award for Right At Your Door at the Sundance Film Festival .
