Tomi Jaakko Poikolainen (born December 27, 1961 in Helsinki ) is a Finnish archer and Olympic champion who took part in the Olympic Games five times from 1980 to 1996.

When he won the gold medal at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow , he was the youngest gold medalist in Finland at the age of 18, 7 months and 6 days. At the following games in Los Angeles he reached fifth place and in Seoul eleventh place in the individual and fourth with the team. In 1992 he was able to get the silver medal with the team at the Summer Olympics in Barcelona , but in the individual he only came in 24th place. In 1996 in Atlanta he took part in the Olympic Games for the last time and reached eleventh place in the individual and eighth with the team.

Poikolainen works as a firefighter and lives with his wife, the archer Jutta Poikolainen in Hyvinkää .
