Tommaso Dotti (born July 11, 1993 in Milan ) is an Italian short tracker .

Career

Dotti, who starts for the Fiamme Oro, made his first international appearance at the 2009 Junior World Championships in Sherbrooke . There he took 15th place in the all-around competition and seventh place with the relay. In the following year he won at the Junior World Championships in Taipei the 13th place in the all-around and the 11th place with the relay and at the team world championships in Bormio fourth place. He made his debut in the Short Track World Cup in October 2010 in Montreal and came 29th in the 1000 m. and on tenth place over 1500 m. At the European Championships 2011 in Heerenveen he ran on the 18th place in the all-around and on the fifth place with the relay and at the Junior World Championships 2011 in Courmayeur on the 16th place in the all-around and on the 15th rank with the relay. In the 2011/12 season he finished 15th in the all-around competition and tenth place with the relay at the 2012 European Championships in Mladá Boleslav, 30th place in the all-around competition and ninth place with the relay and the relay at the Junior World Championships in Melbourne World Championships 2012 in Beijing 47th place in all-around. In the following year he was seventh at the Junior World Championships in Warsaw in all- around and with the relay and achieved 15th place in the all-around and fourth place with the relay at the European Championships in Malmö and 30th place in the all- around at the World Championships in Budapest . In the following season in Erzurum , Dotti achieved his best single place in the World Cup with fourth place over 1000 m. In the 2015/16 season he repeated this placement in Dresden over 1500 m and achieved his first podium finish in the World Cup in Shanghai with second place in the relay. At the 2016 European Championships in Sochi , he took 28th place in the all-around event and fifth place with the relay, and at the 2016 World Championships in Seoul, he took 43rd place in the all- around competition and sixth with the relay. The following year he won the bronze medal with the relay at the European Championships in Turin . He also achieved 19th place in the all-around competition and 27th place in the all- around competition at the World Championships in Rotterdam . In the 2017/18 season he ran at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang on 25th place over 1500 m and 22nd place over 1000 m. In February 2019 he came in third place with the relay in the World Cup in Turin. At the European Championships in Debrecen he achieved 21st place in the all-around competition and won the bronze medal again with the relay.
